Rob Barlow replaced Poplar Diver with Elizabeth G bought from Robert Spanswick in Lerwick in 2004. A 22.85m sister ship of Hjalmar Bjorge this vessel was also built for the NSSR (Norsk Selskab til Skibbrudnes Redning or Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue) in 1963 at Skudenshavn, Norway to Det Norsk Veritas +1 A1-N-ICE-C standards. She was originally called "Bergen Kreds" and was renamed after Robert Spanswick's wife.

Elizabeth G worked for two seasons, with the original superstructure in place, catering for 10 guests. Over the winter of 2005/2006 Rob completed a huge rebuild and refit, based on our successful conversion of Hjalmar Bjorge, enabling the boats to resemble twin sisters again. Elizabeth G now accommodates 12 guests in six twin berth cabins.

Northern Light Charters has administrated Rob's dive charters and cruises since he bought Elizabeth G. These have mainly been based in the Hebrides but in summer 2007 he spent a couple of months running dive charters along the Norwegian coast, based out of Bergen. Rob is now looking to work less intensively and in 2008 we are offering just a small number of dive trips aboard this boat.
