Hjalmar Bjørge is a 23m ex-Norwegian ice-class rescue vessel purchased by Mark and Hannah in 2002. Since undergoing an extensive refurbishment this outstanding small ship combines luxury and comfort with seaworthiness eminently suited to adventurous sea voyages for up to 12 passengers. The vessel is currently MCA "Cat 1" (150 miles from a safe haven) and in summer 2005 completed a successful cruise of the Faroe Islands and northern coast of Iceland.

We also delivered some wonderful cruises aboard yacht Zuza during 2008 and 2009 before she sailed home to South Africa for a huge refurb which is still in progress.

Both vessels are ideal platforms from which both individuals and groups can explore beautiful North West Scotland or further afield. There are many thousands of miles of coast to explore in Scotland and beyond and we would like to show you some of the most remote parts of it. The beauty of boats the size of Hjalmar Bjorge and Zuza is that they're large enough to contain comfortable cabins and saloons but small enough to drop anchor in the most inaccessible and picturesque locations that sailors on larger cruise ships can only dream about. If you'd like to share this experience with a small number of like-minded guests (no more than 12 in total) then you've come to the right place.
