Synopsis: a gentle early season cruise combining sailing and power where we take advantage of the natural shelter of the islands - ideal for trying out that "wind in your hair" experience! Seabirds, eagles and early cetaceans. Daily walks.
The itinerary is dependent on weather, balancing shelter with sailing to our preferred destinations. This cruise will be based on the latest local sightings and will utilise our unique local knowledge to view raptors and seabirds such as gannets, puffins, guillemots, terns, skuas and razorbills. Hopefully there will be some early cetaceans around too including minke whales, common dolphin, porpoise as well as basking sharks. Destinations may include, for example, some of the following places: Mull, the Small Isles (Rum, Canna, Eigg and Muck), the west coast of Skye, the Treshnish Isles, Coll, Gunna and Tiree. We'll also try to include a voyage along the south coast of Mull to view some amazing raptor locations.
