Synopsis: a gentle early season cruise where we take advantage of the natural shelter of the islands on a stabilized motor vessel, perfect if you've never tried this kind of thing before. April is frequently crisp and bright with no midges this early on. Walks planned daily. Birds and possibly some early cetaceans (see list below).

Destination: guests join motor vessel Hjalmar Bjorge at around 1600 on Thursday 15 April in Oban. Our departure shortly thereafter will see us on anchor for our first evening meal aboard. 

The itinerary is dependent on weather - balancing shelter with travel to varied locations - but may include, for example, some of the following destinations: Mull, the Small Isles (Rum, Canna, Eigg and Muck), the Treshnish Isles, Gometra, Iona, Coll and the Garvellachs, etc. Expect sea and golden eagles, seabirds and perhaps some early cetaceans.

On the final day we head back into Oban for your departure after brunch or lunch on Monday 19 April.
