Synopsis: a gentle cruise in local waters taking advantage of the natural shelter of the Hebrides. Enjoy the last of summer and stunning scenery of early autumn. Walks planned every day. Great time of year for cetaceans (see below). Very small possibility of seeing the Northern Lights.
Please note the route remains deliberately flexible as we are aiming to provide you with a relaxed "wind down" cruise so will change our plans if it looks like the sea might get choppy. The final day will see our arrival back in Oban for your departure after lunch on Wednesday 17 September. Sightings and findings from previous similar cruises: adders, basking shark, common dolphins, gannets, golden eagles, minke whales, Northern Lights, otters, sea eagles, sunsets, swallow, wild goats, wren Please Note: The journey described above is typical of this cruise but is not guaranteed. Sightings and findings are examples from previous similar cruises; the list is neither exhaustive nor guaranteed. |
